Hello all, lovely xoxo allinda is back from obs.
Firstly, i'm all tan, burnt, black and all! HAHA! :D
Its really so fun, and yeah! would never regret going! This will be a long post, to sum up the obs! So Sexy, lets go!
DAY 1, 020509!
-Reached school, adminstrative matters, bus arrived. :)
-while travelling to Malaysia, we watched hotel for dogs, Xmen, and some chinese police show! :)
-Reached obs campsite! :) then we had dinner and we got to know the rules.
-Adminstration. We were split into two groups: Tahan and Gading.
& I'm in Gading. :)
-& i slept at 3, was talking and watching mean girls.
DAY 2, 030509!
-Woke up, then assembled for anthem, phototaking, breakfast then teambuilding games!
-Belaying course + commands.
-Lunch + free time (which i slept)
-First aid class!
-Tent pitching session!
-Bathe then dinner then free time again!
-Activities, temperature taking, supper and off to bed.
DAY 3, 040509!
-Woke up, anthem, captain's ball! then breakfast.
-kayaking + capsize drills. (I rescued 3 boats, sexy!)
-bathe, lunch, navigation class.
-Trekking around obs campsite.
-dinner, then briefing for sea expedition!
-Supper, packed and slept.
DAY 4, 050509!
-Woke up, flag raising.
-breakfast fast fast, and off we go for our expedition!
-took a long time to kayak.
-Reached campsite and set up tents + cutting firewood + cooking of lunch.
-then we played water, and we wash up and went for repelling (abseiling).
while we were repelling, the monkeys overturned the whole campsite upside down! holy moly! + I found out i got a leech bite, 1st person :)
-Dinner, wash up, debrief + duty watch.
-helped with the tents because it seems like its gna rain.
-Squeezed like mad in the tent cause there was no place + rain.
DAY 5, 060509!
-woke up, clean up, breakfast, load stuff to motherboat, and we launch for our expedition.
today was a very tiring day because the waves were really really big, and it was going against us, which makes it harder to kayak cause of the current + seasick!
-i suffered from heat exhuastion! :( (long story!)
-so i went to the motherboat to rest till 3, then we had lunch.
-took a boat ride back because it was simply too late + current too strong.
-and i got a tan line, i'm damn dark. and we bathed, and dinner.
-briefing for land expedition + sharing.
-packed bag, wash clothes, sleep.
DAY 6, 070509!
-woked up super late! so instructor scolded us!
-breakfast, took the dry rations, packed the haversack, lunch, then off we go.
-trekked to campsite! then we build the tents + everything + dinner!
-cooked next day lunch! wash up, then we powdered bath, then had santry watch.
-slept.
DAY 7, 080509! (Happy birthday brandon!)
-Woke up, took down the tents, breakfast, and set off for expedition.
-started trekking from peak 4 to peak 1.
Oh holy moly, it was sooooooooooooooooo tiring! But really thank god for giving me strength. + I was the expedition leader, had to make sure all are fine.
then we trekked trekked trekked, and we met the other group and we had to stop!
-stopped for water break on the way and had a lunch stop.
-at the last peak, weirong disjointed his knee, so we took slightly longer.
-walked back to obml campsite.
-slept and clean the stuff.
-wash up then dinner, then sharing.
-supper and sleep.
DAY 8, 090509!
-woke up, breakfast, boat ride to pangkor island for cultural exchange!
-bought things on the way, ate lunch (and i accidentally ate peanuts!)
-boat ride back, then had briefing for the bbq night!
-then preparation + tea break, then we bbqed the chicken wings and sausages.
-bbq night started!
-then a long chain of stuff, then wash up, clean up.
Oh, today, a group of boys from montford school came. They were all so ckp. Stare at girls like never before. So the girls were so scared. Made sure that at least there was a guy with a girl. And the guys sent the girls up the bunk, :) Thanks!
-slept when i didnt plan to.
DAY 9, 100509!
-woke up, packed bag, went down to gather.
-breakfast, then the last bye bye to instructors and all!
-back to singapore.
On the way back, the uncle left the cabin key to our luggages somewhere. So we stopped for a long time to wait for him to get it back.
-reached singapore, then school then had debrief, and sisters fetched me home!
yeah, sexy! Obs was really fun! I miss my instructor! He's called instructor irwan, and uncle touch! HAHAH. :) So many things happen, but i will not elaborate. And thank you everybody!
I'm having a bad headache now. :(
